Qumra is our talent incubator supporting projects across feature films, series and shorts—offering creative and professional mentorship at every stage of development.

During Qumra, nearly 200 global industry experts will advise participating filmmakers through tailored sessions, work-in-progress screenings and curated meetings. The programme focuses on first- and second-time directors, drawing participation from over forty countries.

Among this year’s selection are emerging talents from Qatar and a wider community of filmmakers nurtured through the Doha Film Institute’s funding and training ecosystem.
