Based on a poem of absence and self-doubt, ‘NESYAN’ reveals the One, the Other, and the Ghost. Through fragments, escapism, and silence, it explores loss, memory, distance, and the invisible presence that lingers and shapes a separation.
‘NESYAN’ is a short film essay about absence, self-doubt, and what remains after a separation. It unfolds through three presences—the One, the Other, and the Ghost—figures who never meet, yet remain bound by loss. The One inhabits the present, moving through empty spaces shaped by memory. The Other exists at a distance, fragmented and alone despite being surrounded by others. The Ghost drifts through the lingering trace of a love that once existed. Through fragments, silence, and a non-linear structure, the film explores how endings linger in the body and mind, shaping who we become long after love has gone.
