Qumra is a unique initiative dedicated to providing mentorship, nurturing talent, and fostering hands-on development for filmmakers from Qatar, the region and beyond.
Held annually in Doha, Qumra empowers authentic voices in cinema through a curated programme of development labs, Master Classes and industry sessions. Through one-on-one guidance from acclaimed mentors and access to decision-makers from across the world, Qumra supports first- and second-time filmmakers in shaping original, resonant stories.
