Qumra is designed to support directors and producers with creative and professional guidance across all stages of filmmaking. This year’s programme includes features, series, and short films in development, production or post-production, across both fiction and documentary formats.

At its core, Qumra supports emerging voices in cinema, with a special focus on first- and second-time filmmakers. Participants include filmmakers from Qatar, as well as regional and international talents supported through the Institute’s Funding and Training Programmes.
