In honour of the 2024 Qatar-Morocco Year of Culture, Ajyal Film Festival proudly presents Made in Morocco, a specially curated programme showcasing the talented voices of Moroccan cinema today. Developed in partnership with Qatar’s Year of Culture initiative and the Marrakesh Short Film Festival, this selection of short films spans multiple genres, providing an authentic view of contemporary Moroccan society through the eyes of its most promising filmmakers.

These films offer a glimpse into Morocco’s unique heritage, highlighting personal and societal narratives that reflect the diversity and richness of Moroccan life. As part of a year-long celebration, Made in Morocco symbolises the spirit of cultural exchange, aiming to foster understanding and inspire dialogue between our communities.
