Milan Marić
Over the past two decades, Dr Milan Maric has lived on three different continents and worked for various television stations, universities, government agencies, private companies, and independent film productions, before moving into academia.
Dr Milan holds a BA degree in film and TV production with a major in editing, and an MFA degree in cinematography and documentary directing. His PhD research explored how vertical video and the diversity of online distribution platforms, a novelty in 2015, influence the language of moving images. Since 2023, Dr Milan has been employed as the department head of the Digital Communication and Media Production programme at the University of Doha for Science and Technology. His current research examines how generative AI tools affect traditional media production workflows.
