About the Director

Tamer Ruggli
Tamer Ruggli is a Swiss-Egyptian filmmaker who graduated from the École cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ECAL). After intensifying his writing skills at the New York Film Academy in 2015, he was awarded the SSA Scholarship (Swiss Society of Authors) in 2016 for 'Back to Alexandria', his first feature-length fiction script. Gérard Monier

Gérard Monier graduated from the I.D.H.E.C (Institut des Hautes Études Cinématographiques) in Paris. In France and abroad, he has produced several dozen feature films and more than fifty TV films and TV series. In 2000, in Switzerland, he took charge of the Executive Production of French-Swiss TV films and international feature films.  Gérard is a member of ADP (The Association of French Production Directors) and of the Pool of Experts of the Cinéforom in Switzerland.
