Chaker Ayadi is a Tunisian-Canadian filmmaker and media educator.

After winning a prestigious Tunisian-American scholarship, he pursued his studies at the University of Illinois, where he joined the Unit for Cinema Studies. Following his master’s degree, he relocated to Vancouver, Canada, where he was awarded an Explorations grant from the Canada Arts Council to develop an experimental screenplay. In Canada, he directed 'Next Station' and collaborated on various independent film productions while also contributing as a film critic. His journey then took him to Dubai and later to Doha, where he taught media production and documentary filmmaking at the university level. Among his documentary works is 'Nahr Al Bared Refugee Camp', along with several other short and feature-length documentaries. Ayadi's dedication to education and storytelling has inspired a new generation of filmmakers, with many of his students winning awards at both regional and international festivals.
