Alex Bushe is a Los Angeles-based film editor with 20 years of experience in documentary and narrative filmmaking.

He recently completed the documentary 'Bella', about modern dance choreographer Bella Lewitzky, and is currently editing 'My Uncle the Fugitive', about a notorious Taiwanese political fugitive who resurfaces in southern California. Alex worked for eight years with editor Joe Bini on six films for Werner Herzog, as well as for a range of directors including Lynne Ramsay, Andrea Arnold and Nick Broomfield. He has participated in the Sundance Institute’s Documentary Edit and Story Labs and has led workshops at the Doha Film Institute and South Korean EBS International Documentary Festival. He also has guest lectured at UCLA, Chapman University, and Cal-State LA.
