For over a decade, she produced author-driven documentaries that found their way to festivals, cinemas and broadcasts. In 2017, Selin became film programmer and head of Industry at Montreal's RIDM where she created strong relationships with European festivals and markets. In this role, she co-created the If! Doc Lab in Istanbul (2016-2018), led co-production workshops for Quebec at CPH:DOX, Sunny Side of the Doc, Hot Docs, and Cannes Doc, and consulted for several international film markets, including the Toolbox program at EFM-Berlinale. Since the summer of 2021, she has been Markets Manager at Amsterdam's IDFA and continues to consult, moderate, lead workshops and support international non-fiction talent.
