Atrach is a Palestinian screenwriter, educator, and storyteller whose work explores grief, identity, resilience, and belonging through character-driven stories rooted in comedy, world-building, and animation. She holds an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA and is an Assistant Professor of Screenwriting at Northwestern University in Qatar. Her short film Alterations was supported by the BFI and British Council’s More Films For Freedom grant, with its feature adaptation selected for Stowe Story Labs. She is also the co-creator/co-writer of Task Force: Apocalypse! Alongside her own creative work, she works as a script consultant and development mentor on award-winning and internationally screened projects from Qatar and the wider region.
