Atrach is a Palestinian screenwriter, educator and storyteller whose character-driven work uses comedy, world-building and animation to explore grief, loss and resilience. She holds an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA. Her debut short ‘Alterations’ and short documentary ‘Bel Falastini’ are in post-production with support from UK and Qatar grants. She is co-writing ‘Task Force! Apocalypse’. An Assistant Professor at Northwestern University in Qatar and a Script Consultant with Doha Film Institute, she has supported award-winning scripts.
