His portfolio includes acclaimed productions such as the Oscar-nominated ‘Theeb’ and ‘Rosewater’ by Jon Stewart. Falah began his creative journey in theatre, studying acting and directing before earning his MFA in Directing and Sound from RSICA in Jordan. Since joining DFI over a decade ago, he has played an instrumental role in shaping soundscapes for a wide range of productions and mentoring emerging filmmakers through workshops and hands-on training. Deeply passionate about the role of sound in film, Falah advocates for greater awareness of behind-the-scenes crafts, highlighting sound as both a creative and emotional tool in the storytelling process.
