In a marginalised neighbourhood of Tunis, Yahya, a young man in a wheelchair, dreams of crossing the Mediterranean, until a rare bird sets him on a new path.
In a marginalised neighbourhood of Tunis, Yahya, a young man in a wheelchair, lives with his mother and dreams of crossing the Mediterranean, like so many of the young men around him. His father is in prison, and Yahya has not been to visit him. Then a friend hands him a rare bird, said to have come all the way from Mexico. Told through rotoscope and 3D animation, this modern fable explores migration, youth and the fluidity of identity.
