A Syrian filmmaker who lives in Sweden engages his family in Aleppo, making a joint film to challenge the distance separating them.
A Syrian filmmaker who lives in Sweden searches for inspiration to make a film related to his new surroundings after he learns that his father in Aleppo had an unfulfilled dream of studying cinema 40 years ago. The two separated parts of the family decide to make a joint film about both generations' experiences of exile and their passion for cinema, so the film becomes a space for the family members to meet.
