About the Director

Kamila Andini
Kamila Andini was born in Jakarta in 1986 and studied Sociology and Media Arts at Deakin University in Melbourne. Her concern for culture, women’s empowerment and environmental issues led her to her passion for storytelling through the medium of film. In 2011, she released her debut feature-length film ‘The Mirror Never Lies’, which portrays the life of a sea wanderer in the oceans of Indonesia. T
