International Short Films Programme 2: Traces That Remain
International Short Film Competition

Yujin breaks her glasses, and during an eye exam, she discovers a hidden world where she meets shadow versions of herself. Reconciling with them, she learns acceptance and growth.
During a routine eye exam, Yujin catches a glimpse of a distant house and is drawn inside. Moving through its rooms, she encounters shadow versions of herself, embodiments of emotions and memories she long rejected. One by one, she confronts and reconciles with these fragments, embarking on a journey of self-acceptance. Rendered in Yumi Joung’s delicate pencil-drawing style, Glasses is a poetic meditation on healing, perspective, and transformation, offering a quiet yet powerful story of growth.
