Maria is lonely until she finds a lost unicorn. Together they cross town, evading the dogcatcher, to reach the rainbow bridge that leads home.
Maria is eight and lonely, reading in the park since her best friend moved away. On a rainy day, she finds a lost creature and hides it in her room. It is a unicorn, fallen from the clouds. When a rainbow appears, the two set out across town, pursued by the dogcatcher, towards a bridge of light thrown up by a fountain. Kholood Al Ali’s cutout animation understands that company, like a rainbow, tends to arrive after the rain.
