An intimate portrait of La Quebrada’s legendary cliff divers, this breathtaking short documentary captures the ritual, courage, and poetry behind their 100-foot dives into the sea.
Set in Acapulo’s legendary La Quebrada, ‘Voices from the Abyss’ follows the divers who leap 100 feet into the sea, transforming danger into ritual and artistry. Through breathtaking imagery and intimate testimony, directors Víctor Rejón and Irving Serrano capture the delicate balance between faith, art, survival, and legacy. Shot in black and white with epic slow-motion vignettes, the documentary turns each dive into a poetic act of courage, endurance, defiance, and devotion.
