When his grandfather is attacked on camera, a celebrated architect follows a cryptic clue to a ransacked shop and a pair of cufflinks charged with history. Ancient visions fuse with present danger as The Trolls close in and Juna tilts toward chaos. Choosing leadership of a new generation of Protectors, he learns that strength is found in steadfastness, resisting social media’s distortion while defending the ties that bind a city together.

About the Director

Kummam Al-Maadeed
Kummam Al-Maadeed is a Qatari writer and filmmaker bridging literature and cinema. She has authored three novels, a comic and a short-story collection; ‘Wielding Magic’ won Gold at the 2023 Moonbeam Award (YA Fantasy/Sci-Fi) and was a finalist for the American Fiction Award (YA). Two short screenplays were selected for Doha Film Institute’s Qumra, marking her debut in scriptwriting and directing.
Mohammed Al-Suwaidi
Mohammed Al-Suwaidi is a self-taught Qatari graphic designer, cartoonist and character animator. Known as WisdomSeven, he earned awards in caricature and graphic design across the GCC, worked for Al Sharq, and animated on the short ‘Rain’ (DFI) and Emirati TV series ‘Mandoos’. With ‘Al-Aqiq: Darkness of Virtuality’, made via the Qatari Film Fund, he returns to screen while developing ‘Harf Wa Ism’
