Alone in a rain-lashed square, a mid-career worker in uniform keeps trying to light a cigarette. The act repeats until a stranger steps in, and a small gesture alters the night. What seems incidental becomes a study of routine, fear and the thin membrane between everyday survival and the world outside the frame. Minimal and weather-beaten, the film holds a mirror to numbed habits and asks whether a spark can break complicity.
