Desperately in need of water to heal her ailing mother, Kenza and her father pull the last remains of a depleted well, when they suddenly hear an enigmatic stranger cry for help. Wounded and clasping a mysterious bag, the man offers her father a bounty he cannot refuse. Set in the Arabian desert, this periodical drama follows Kenza as she explores the nuances between familial responsibility and greed.

About the Director

Yassine Ouahrani
Yassine Wahrani is a French-Moroccan screenwriter and director based in Doha, Qatar. Holding a degree in Communications from Northwestern University, he joined the Doha Film Institute in 2019. Yassine is currently developing a short fiction film, produced by the Film House, titled ‘When the Fire Burned the Sun’.<br />
