Yasmina El Kamaly
Yasmina El Kamaly is a filmmaker and visual artist from Cairo, Egypt. She studied Directing at the High Cinema Institute in Cairo and co-founded the streaming platform Glifics in 2022, where she currently serves as Head of Film Acquisition & Programming. Her directorial debut, ‘The Mother and the Bear’, premiered at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival in 2024. A multidisciplin
