On a hurried visit to lay a beloved dog to rest, a father and 15-year-old son face the quiet after a break-up. What’s unsaid weighs more than words.
On a hurried visit to lay a beloved dog to rest, a father and 15-year-old son face the quiet after a break-up. What’s unsaid weighs more than words.
Adapted from Leandro Custo’s short tale, this story follows a father and his teenage son as they do what no one wants to do: lay a beloved dog to rest. The errand becomes a rehearsal of tone within the family universe, doors opened and closed, roles shifting, silence carrying meaning. Hovering between what is shown and what is felt, the film traces the moment after separation, when belonging is uncertain and the way forward is to recognise what is no longer.
