In a remote wadi of the Libyan desert, two brothers arrive, one suffering from a mysterious illness. Searching for the elusive mountain sheep, the waddan, their only hope is a solitary shepherd unwilling to guide anyone to it.
In a remote wadi of the Libyan desert, two desperate brothers arrive in search of the Waddan, a rare mountain sheep said to roam the surrounding cliffs. One of them, Qabeel, suffers from a mysterious illness that worsens by the day; the other is determined to keep his brother alive at any cost. Their only hope lies with Assouf, a solitary shepherd who knows the land better than anyone else.

Assouf lives in isolation with his goats, guarding the ancient carvings of Wadi Matkhandoush, and refuses to help them reach the elusive animal. As Qabeel’s condition worsens, he threatens to kill the shepherd’s goats one by one, forcing Assouf to agree to lead them. The trio ventures into the mountains as the desert grows hostile, testing them physically and mentally, pushing their desperation until the line between survival and violence begins to blur.
