Made in Qatar Film Competition

The film follows Mubarak, a short-tempered single father of three sons. Though they’ve built lives of their own, he still longs for their laughter and company. Fridays are a sacred tradition - the day when families gather under one roof. But this Friday is different. Mubarak’s eldest son drops off his young daughter, Joud, before rushing off on a last-minute business trip. Left to babysit his energetic, headstrong granddaughter, Mubarak finds himself navigating an unexpected afternoon. Together, he and Joud discover that while blood brings family together, it’s love that makes them stay.
