Characterised by aggressive muscle degeneration, it is an extremely rare condition, affecting only one in fifty million women. Removed from school due to her affliction, Nawaal did not let it prevent her from living a very full life as a cosplayer, comedian and disability rights activist in this uplifting portrait of an inspirational young lady.

Luciana Ceccatto Farah is an artist based in Doha, Qatar. She studied Sculpture at the Escola de Belas Artes do Paraná, in her native Brazil, and Communications at Vesalius College in Brussels, Belgium.
