About the Director

Tony El Ghazal
Tony El Ghazal is a Lebanese writer and director based in Qatar. He has directed several narrative fiction films and documentaries that have screened at festivals around the world. His work explores themes of memory, family and identity, told from an Arab perspective with universal resonance. A graduate of Northwestern University, he received two production grants to direct the short films ‘Bayt E
