In the Family Court of Doha, Noor anxiously prepares to enter the courtroom with her sister, Fatima, who informs her that their mother, Amna, won’t be joining them. Inside, tensions mount as Noor faces her husband, his lawyer, and the judge. Just before the session begins, Amna unexpectedly arrives.

Throughout the session, as the judge and lawyers argue whether Noor can divorce her husband, the three women engage in a heated discussion on the sidelines. Amna urges Noor against divorce, while Fatima tries to persuade her to go forward with it. At the peak of their argument, Fatima reveals a family secret that shakes everyone and leaves Noor questioning her choice to get divorced.
