On 30 July, in a coastal town in northern Morocco, the country celebrates Throne Day, marked in 2025 by an unprecedented royal pardon of nearly 20,000 prisoners. Samia, a woman in her thirties, spends the day alone. Among those released may be the man she once filed a complaint against, a figure without name or face. As the hours pass, her solitude deepens, and something within her begins to shift.

Zahra Berrada is a Moroccan filmmaker born in Tangier. After a brief career as an engineer, she decided to devote herself to cinema. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Film from Sorbonne University in Paris and a Master’s degree in Film from Paris 8 University.
