In a pre-digital world of letters and smoke-filled rooms, a fragile student finds precision and courage when confronting the violence she can no longer ignore.
In a pre-digital world of letters and smoke-filled rooms, a fragile student finds precision and courage when confronting the violence she can no longer ignore.
It is the 1990s. In a classroom haze, a young student begins a letter to her brother. Between reprimands and drifting thoughts, everyday spaces—lecture hall, stairwell, football field—quietly frame a neighbour’s aggression. With few words and a voice-over that keeps faith with the page, she discovers a steadiness she did not know she had. The encounter becomes an awakening: not only hers, but of a generation learning to name harm and answer it with presence.
