Southern Oman, 1978. When a leopard threatens his village, Dablan, a widowed father, faces mounting pressure from his tribe to kill it, but resolves to set it free.
In 1978, in the mountains of Dhofar in southern Oman, Dablan, a widower, lives with his children Salma and Amr in a traditional rural village. In a culture that sees the leopard as the ultimate test of a hunter’s courage, his tribe expects him to kill the one threatening their village. But Dablan resolves to set the animal free, and the pressure on him only grows. An intimate, tender journey inside a tribal society on the edge of change.
