An urgent desktop diary made at the intersection of a hectic digital landscape and the inner violence of modern colonisation.
Chronicling sleepless nights in Amsterdam, this documentary short follows activists in exile as they confront the violence of colonisation and the weight of being far from home. Between screens and streets, their struggle against police violence, deportation, and displacement unfolds as an intimate portrait of digital resistance. Blending personal memory with new media, the film examines the emotional and political labour invested in screen time, reframing it as a collective act of solidarity, cross-border community, and shared struggle.
