In a world driven by the relentless rhythm of time, a precise watchmaker races against the clock to craft the perfect watch for his only daughter.
Set within the surreal mechanics of time, ‘Ghafleh’ (translating to “evanescence”) tells the story of a skilled watchmaker who realises he’s been absent from his daughter’s life. Determined to make up for lost time, he sets out to craft the perfect watch for her. Yet as the demands of his work pull him further away, the ticking clock threatens not only the gift he strives to create, but the precious bond he’s at risk of losing. The film explores the emotional conflict between a father’s desire to give and the fleeting moments he may never get back.
