'The Palm Tree' by Mahdi Al Ali is a deeply introspective tale about a woman who grapples with love, loss and the mysteries of the sea. Through vivid dream sequences and poignant memories, her internal struggle unfolds as an aquarium teeming with life contrasts with the lifelessness of a forgotten vase of roses.
