Inside a parked car under Doha’s scorching sun, a son calls to confront his father about a hidden second marriage. Between sweat, silence, and truth, tension quietly unravels.
As his father waits in the car for him to join Friday prayer, a son calls to confront him about a secret second marriage. Set under Doha’s sweltering heat, ‘Baba is Melting’ unfolds in a moment of silence and tension where truth begins to surface and emotions boil over. Inspired by Karim Emara’s own life, the film examines masculinity, vulnerability, and the fragile bond between father and son with raw emotion and striking minimalism.
