Doha Film Festival 2026 starts long before the opening credits. From 8 to 18 November, DFF Side Quest turns the city into a game board, and you’re the main character on a mission to find the missing film posters from this year’s Festival programme.

How it works

Grab your phone and head out across Doha. Hidden in venues and community spaces all over town are film-inspired challenges, clues and puzzles, each one linked to a film from this year’s Festival programme.

Crack a location’s challenges to earn points, unlock rewards and collect that film’s digital poster in the app. Every poster you find brings you one step closer to completing the quest, reveals your next destination and helps you piece together the Festival experience.

No spoilers, just clues!

Every challenge gives you a glimpse into a DFF 2026 film, from its world and themes to its characters, without giving the story away. It’s a chance to discover new stories, filmmakers and explore different corners of Doha.

Finish the quest, then head to the DFF Box Office from 14 November to redeem your Festival ticket and see one of this year’s films on the big screen.
